Sidearm Fundamentals

Sidearm Fundamentals is a class we designed to instill the essential skills needed to effectively employ your handgun in a situation that requires the use of lethal force to survive. This is not a class about firearms ownership or maintenance. It is a hands on class focused on building a solid foundation for the defensive use of your firearm during the most vital moments of your life, using a crawl-walk-run training methodology.

• Accessibility, drawing from concealment
• Fundamentals of defensive marksmanship
• “Surgical” shot placement
• Loading, Reloading, Emergency Reloading
• Clearing malfunctions
• Wyatt Protocol
• Introduction to accuracy under stress
• Understanding your Right to Lethal Force​

​Required gear: 

• A semi automatic handgun
• Minimum 2 Spare magazines
• Sturdy Pants Belt & holster that allows safe reholstering (no cloth or neoprene) 
• 250 rounds of ammunition 
• Eye and ear protection 
• Appropriate clothing
• An open mind

Note: If you cannot acquire one or more of these items before the class, please contact us as soon as possible. We have a limited number of guns, holsters, etc available for rent on a first come, first served basis.
