Clay
Founder - Lead Instructor Clay began his training journey in 2001 at the age of 12, in old school traditional martial arts. At age 15 he became an assistant instructor. Within a year, Clay was in charge of an advanced class. After a short and agonizing attempt to lead a normal life, Clay chose to leave college and pursue a dream of providing good people with the skills to protect themselves and others. Clay spent the next 5 years training in Krav Maga, originally becoming an instructor in 2011 and beginning formal Firearms Training the same year, studying under some of the most influential figures in the industry. During this time he was also introduced to Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, Wrestling & Muay Thai, as well as other reality based systems such as SPEAR system and Keysi Fighting Method. In 2016, Clay was certified as a firearms instructor and founded Counter Violence USA. In recent years, he has earned affiliations with Keysi World & Nomad Krav Maga, he frequently attends instructor level courses with each. Clay has dedicated two thirds of his life to the study of violence and continues to seek out the best Combatives, Firearms, and Instructor training available to keep Counter Violence’s services at the highest of standards. |
